I always loved J.C.Leyendecker...this is an homage to the great " Maestro".
This days I'm doing some exercise in ZBrush ,( incredible tool)this is one of them.
The clay modeling is " Dead".

Rhino

Those are some Final rendering of a model that I have done for "Lair"( the textures are done by Cory Strader , The "Maestro").I start in Maya with the general blocking and passed to ZBrush where I finalized the model and extract the Normal Maps after I passed to Cory for the final touch in color.I completely forgot to mention that the little guy on top of the first Rhino was done by the "Maestrone" Anthony Rivero, sorry Anthony if I didn't mention your name , the other one was done by Mark Tear

Final Pass

from Concept to final pice 01

Those are few images of a maquette that I did last year .The sculpture was done in Roma Plastilina .I started to build an armature than, following the concept design (done by a friend Brian O'Connell), I worked on the general shape and proportion.Those pictures are the first pass on the sculpture.
I will post more picture in the next few day showing the complete process .

Finally after a long time, I'm publishing something new.
I couldn't post it before, because is related with a game that is coming out in the next few weeks.
The game is call " LAIR" and is for a PS3 console.

Homage to Leonardo da Vinci

This is a drawing done by my daughter Vanessa ,she turn 6 few days ago!
She was enspired from the famous drawing of Leonardo .....she decided to draw the back part of it!
I think is amazing.

Ecroche' study

I did this study few years ago in NY ....it's a life size sculpt. I builded a skull first ,from a real reference and than apply all the levels of the muscles. Was an amazing experience. I did it with few friends from NY! ( Bumba, Michele,Brian...I'll miss you guys!)
